The Central Virginia Small Business Development Center is made up of a team of business and technical experts available to listen, advise and assist entrepreneurs; confidentially and free of charge. SBDC offers 1:1 assistance, connection to curated research, access to technical experts and professionals, and timely events and training. The Culpeper County Department of Economic Development brings SBDC resources to Culpeper County with a business advisor available for appointments in their office, conveniently located on Main Street.
SCORE’s mission is to foster vibrant small business communities through mentoring and education. SCORE mentors know what it’s like to be a small business owner. Their community of experienced entrepreneurs, corporate managers, and executives are eager to help you start and grow your business. In addition to individual personalized meetings with mentors they offer live webinars, recorded webinars, local workshops, and online courses.
Community Investment Collaborative (CIC) is a mission-driven non-profit in Charlottesville, VA that’s empowering small business for big change. CIC’s mission is to strengthen the community and contribute to economic development by fueling the success of under-resourced entrepreneurs through education, mentoring, financing, and networking.
